I love Brian Gorell, I do. I do.
I adore his writing style.
I pray that he will get his revenge, and his money,
But oftentimes, I wish he improves his grammar.
In one of his entries, he wrote:
This entry is very important to me.
Religion, Religion, Religion.
UHG!
Matthew Shepard is a true hero to me.
Any person who loses their life for being a homosexual is indeed a true soldier.
Its the only war I'm really interested in fighting.
Homophobia really effects me and many whom I love.
T.R. Knight is also a hero to me. Brave.
In different ways, but hero's nonetheless!
Okay Brian, I get your drift. I salute you for this advocacy of yours. A few notes though:
a. Any person who loses HIS life (not their - which is plural, and your subject - person - is singular)
b. Homophobia really AFFECTS me and many of my loved ones.
Effect, when used as a verb, means to accomplish, as in "Brian's blog effects a change in the Philippine society."
c. In different ways, but a HERO nonetheless.
Hero's is a possessive form, as in "Our hero's blog is called..."
But grammar notwithstanding, keep up the good work.
